What Do You Think: Tear Down McGrath?
With a big meeting about the future of the McGrath Highway Overpass on Thursday, we ask, Do you think it should be torn down?
Somerville's legislative delegation is hosting a meeting with city officials and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation Thursday night about Somerville's McGrath Highway (at 6 p.m. at the ).
MassDOT is in short-term repairs that would keep the overpass functional for another 10 to 15 years.
Many in Somerville are calling for the state to forget repairs and take down the overpass immediately.
