News about Somerville's four-legged residents just keeps cropping up these days. The City recently opened a brand new off-leash dog park in East Somerville, and canine advocates are pushing for another for West Somerville. Meanwhile, dog owners have reported problems with locked gates at Nunziato Dog Park (the City is working to solve this problem).

So Patch videographer met up with Michele Biscoe, chairperson of the Somerville Dog Owners Group, one recent morning at to get her take on the latest developments--and her thoughts on why it's important to let Fido run free.
