Union Square Might Get New Donut Shop
Newly launched Union Square Donuts could convert from a mobile vendor to a bricks-and-mortar storefront, according to Boston Eater.
Union Square could be getting a new donut shop called, well, Union Square Donuts, according to one of Boston's top food blogs.
Boston Eater says the folks behind Somerville's Culinary Cruisers debuted Union Square Donuts at the Dec. 2 "Local is for Lovers" holiday market and that they may open a retail shop at 201 Somerville Ave., near the Target.
The Culinary Cruisers website says donut flavors include things like chocolate chipotle and honey glazed with toasted almonds.
Anyone excited for homegrown Somerville donuts?

Don't get to this section of Somerville that often, but it would be cool to have an option for coffee and donuts other than Dunkin. And locally owned always seems to be a plus. Good luck Union Square Donuts :)

Sounds cool! Since I live right near that area, I'll have to check it out!
