Original songs by Patrick Coman and the Lo-Fi Angels, Tilt-a-Whirl and the winners of a youth battle-of-the-bands contest. Plus a dunk tank, barbecue and activities. It starts at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at The Center for Arts at the Armory.
Styrofoam recycling
Zero-Sort recycling has allowed Somerville residents to recycle a whole bunch of stuff all in one container. But styrofoam is not one of those materials you're supposed to stick in the big blue "toters." If you've got styrofoam you want to recycle, bring it to the Department of Public Works, 1 Franey Rd., from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday.
Free Yoga in the park
If you love yoga or want to learn yoga, check out free yoga in the park outside Union Square. This week it's from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Perry Park, near the intersection of Washington and Dane streets.
Somerville Story Time in the Park
Hear "On the Way To Kindergarten," by Elizabeth Schlossberg, read aloud. There will also be a craft activity. This is for kids 5 and younger. It's at 10 a.m. Saturday at Albion Playground.
