- On Tuesday at the The Center for Arts at the Armory, from 6:30pm–9:00pm check out the First and Last Word Poetry Series.Hosted by Harris Gardner and Gloria Mindock, this poetry reading features poets Catherine Sasanov, Martha Collins, and Robert K. Johnson. Tickets are $4.
- Also on Tuesday, at the Somerville Public Library West Branch, from 11:00am–11:30am take the kids to Storytime. A great event for young kids, teach your children the importance of reading.
- On Wednesday at 6:00pm at Bloc 11 Cafe take a listen to Sarah Louise Pieplow, Ana Mallozzi, and Ali McGuirk. Styles range from soul to punky folk to banjo folk and you can kick back with a latte and artisan sandwich in Block 11's bank vault and listen to the grooves.
- On Wednesday from 12:00pm–6:00pm, grab some goodies at the Davis Square Farmers Market. Its the perfect opportunity to pick up a truckload of locally produced fruits and veggies and stock up on artisan rarities like choclates and sauces.
- On Friday at Hodgkins-Curtin Park, at 8:30pm catch SomerMovie Fest. This weekly, free, community driven movie night is a great event for kids and couples. This week, enjoy The Outsiders.
