A look at this week's events and government meetings in Somerville.
HERE'S A LOOK AT THE WEEK AHEAD IN SOMERVILLE:
- On Monday, Somerville officials host a groundbreaking ceremony at the East Somerville Community School to kick off renovations at the school, which was heavily damaged by a fire in December 2007, displacing students and staff. For more details on this event, click here.
- Every Wednesday brings preschool storytime at the Somerville Public Library's East Branch. The event begins at 11 a.m. For details, click here.
- On Thursday, it is once again time to participate in the city's free flu shot clinic. Vaccination takes place at the City Hall Annex, 50 Evergreen Ave., 5-7 p.m. Those covered by Medicare are asked to bring their insurance information to the clinic, as the city receives direct reimbursement from Medicare.
