Here's a look at the week ahead in Somerville:

• The Somerville Toastmasters are a new group meeting in Somerville Tuesday nights. The group is affiliated with the nonprofit Toastmasters International, which has been teaching public speaking and leadership skills through interactive workshops at local clubs since 1924.  This is the first Toastmasters group in Somerville. • Also on Tuesday, beginners jewelry making takes place at Artisan's Asylum. This class teaches two different styles of simple ring-making as well as techniques for creating your own styles. Students will complete two rings in this class. For more information, check our Events listings here.
• Just four more Davis Square Farmers Markets remain for this season. So come out to this weekly event on Wednesday and enjoy it while you can. Fresh-cut flowers, grass-fed beef, artisan breads and pies, Taza Chocolate and local cheese and honey are among the usual treats. More information here.

• On Friday, the Guy Mendilow Band performs its Ladino Project, featuring centuries-old music from Jewish communities from places such as Smyrna, Salonica, Jerusalem and Sarajevo, sung in the Judeo-Spanish Ladino. More information about the band and their work here.
