Somerville artist Susan Berstler, a visual artist known for her work at Teele Square's Nave Gallery and for Project MUM, where people dance under the McGrath Highway, has been chosen as they city's January artist of the month.
The Somerville Arts Council officially announced its selection on Jan. 7, according to an email from the city arts organization.
