Sunday's Memorial Day Parade and More
The parade starts at 1 p.m. Wreath-laying ceremonies begin at 8 a.m.
Somerville celebrates its Memorial Day Parade Sunday.
Events begin at 8 p.m. at the American Legion Post 19 for a procession and wreath-laying ceremony.
The parade begins at 1 p.m. at City Hall. It will proceed down Highland Avenue into Davis Square, then it will head up Holland Street into Teele Square, and it will then go down Broadway to the Veterans Cemetery near Alewife Brook Parkway.
Due to the parade, there will be some road closures and changes to bus service in Somerville.
