Student's Celebrate Somerville's Bajillion Cultures Friday
Somerville High School is like a miniature United Nations, and it's annual multicultural fair, happening Friday, is one of the biggest events of the year.
You may have heard the statistic that more than 50 languages are spoken in Somerville's schools.
It should come as no surprise that Somerville High School's annual multicultural fair is one of the student body's favorite events of the year.
The 2013 Multicultural Fair is Friday from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the high school's fieldhouse.
Students have put together cultural displays from around the world—Nepal, Haiti, El Salvador, Brazil and Italy, to name just a few places—and they'll show off their various foods, dances, customs, clothing and traditions at the festival.
