1) Something Sweet Art Auction at Washington Street Art Center
Enjoy some hot drinks, sweet snacks, music, art and fancy festive dress at an art auction being held at the Washington Street Art Center. The auction benefits the Somerville Homeless Coalition, and there's a $10 donation at the door. It takes place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
2) Forever Young tribute to Neil Young
Award-winning tributes to the music of Neil Young. The music starts at 7:15 p.m. at The Center for Arts at the Armory.
3) Pets in Need Silent Auction
Pets in Need is a no-kill animal shelter, and they're holding their annual silent auction tonight at 7 p.m. at the George Dilboy VFW Post in Davis Square. There's a lot to bid on: airline tickets, sports collectables, artwork, gift certificates and more.
4) William Kenlon Master's Thesis Concert
Graduate composer William Kenlon premiers a number of new pieces tonight. The concert begins at 8 p.m. at the Granoff Music Center at Tufts University.
5) Weather
Mostly sunny with a high around 50, and the weekend is looking sunny. It will approach 60 on Sunday.
