Somerville Riverfest: Eight Live Bands, Seven Food Trucks, Edsel Car Show

Somerville's Riverfest will feature live bands, including Afrobrazil, performances for children, food trucks, a car show, a rock wall and more.

Somerville Riverfest takes place Sept. 15 in Assembly Square. The city festival, presented in partnership with Assembly Row, will feature live music, activities and performances for children, an Edsel car show, food trucks, a rock wall and more.

This year, Riverfest organizers worked with the Middle East in Central Square on the music lineup, and the folks at Assembly Row have released the list of acts and attractions. Here it is:

I was upset and disappointed - the edsel show was listed under "all day fun" but I went down around 3 PM and they were gone! that is the main reason I went! if they were only going to be there for a short time that should have been specified! - Jodie Dow

Ha- Jodie, I was about to make the same comment. I too was down in the afternoon to hear the same news. Although my son loved the puppet show and the food trucks were great, I had been hoping to see the Edsels as well.
