Robert Hale, WWII Vet, Graduate of Somerville High School, Died April 23
Hale served in the Army Air Corpse in Europe in WWII and was a member of the Minuteman Chapter of the International Plastic Model Society.
Robert Frederick "Bob" Hale, a graduate of Somerville High School who served in Europe during WWII and retired from the the U.S. Air Force Reserves as a major, died April 23.
Hale spent years living in Somerville and also lived in Bedford, Albany, N.Y., Buffalo and Concord. He worked for Liberty Mutual and was an avid model builder.
He leaves behind a wife, two sons, a brother, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
