Rep. Carlos Henriquez' Somerville Accuser: 'I Have Told the Truth' (VIDEO)

Katherine Gonsalves, the 23-year-old Somerville woman who was allegedly assaulted by State Rep. Carlos Henriquez early Sunday morning in Arlington, spoke about the incident and its aftermath at a press conference Wednesday afternoon.

Katherine Gonsalves, a Somerville woman who has accused a Dorchester state representative of assaulting her, read a statement Wednesday afternoon at the law offices of Brody, Hardoon, Perkins and Kesten in Boston and then her attorneys, Richard Brody and Leonard Kesten, answered questions.

Gonsalves, a 23, who will be a student at UMass Boston this coming fall, was accompanied by her mother, Beatriz Mamani, of Arlington.

State Rep. Carlos Henriquez, D-Dorchester, pleaded not guilty to all of the charges against him in Roxbury District Court on Monday and has called the allegations "completely untrue."
