These are the going rates in Somerville. There are some listings on here for $1300. $1100 is pretty much the low price for Somerville. That would be for a studio. I know as I am a Home owner in Somerville as well as a Real Estate Agent based out of Somerville.

Rental properties are definitely on the rise in the Somerville area, and also other locations such as Melrose, Malden, and Medford. We're a roofing contractor in Somerville area (http://www.olympicroofing.com/somerville-ma-roofing), and we've seen a steady rise in demand of roofing work for condo/shared housing in Somerville, as opposed to single family ownership.

Hi Joe, I republish this once a week so people can see what new rental units are available in Somerville. Since available apartment are always changing, each week the map and listings are slightly different. But as you noted, people's comments from one week carry over into subsequent weeks. Hope it's not too confusing.
