Progressive Democrats endorsement meeting
The Progressive Democrats of Somerville will hold a meeting tonight to consider all the contested aldermen races in Somerville this year, and they may make some endorsements. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Visiting Nurse Association.
Amnesty International Group 133 meeting
Group 133 has worked on behalf of prisoners in various parts the world, among other things. Tonight's meeting, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., is at 58 Day St. and open to all.
Peace Corps information session
If you're interested in learning more about the Peace Corps, which provides an opportunity to conduct 27 months of all-expenses-paid service overseas, show up at the library tonight at 6:30 p.m.
Community sing and workshop for women
Women and girls 12 years and older may participate in a community sing for women tonight from 8 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. Held at Third Life Studio in Union Square, the community sing will be led by Susan Robbins from the global music ensemble Libana. It costs $30.
