Arrests made by the Somerville Police Department from Jan 21 to Jan. 27. Please remember that the charges listed below do not indicate a conviction.

Assault and battery

On Jan. 22, Taquana Hardin, 21, of 5 Canal Lane, and Felicia Murphy, 19, of 85 Cedar St., were arrested at 5 Canal Lane and charged with assault and battery. According to a police report, Hardin and Murphy got into an argument and began to fight, pulling each other's hair and knocking themselves onto the ground along with a police officer who was trying to break them apart.

Larceny and theft

On Jan. 21, John Benbow, 54, was arrested at 77 Middlesex Ave. and charged with larceny and resisting arrest. Benbow was accused of shoplifting five queen-sized bed sheets from Kmart, according to a police report.

On Jan. 22, David Bluteau, 45, of Everett, was arrested at 190 Shute St. and charged with larceny and destruction of property. Bluteau is accused of stealing a copper gutter off a condo complex, according to a police report.

Driving without a license

On Jan. 24, Nicola Clark, 45, of Mattapan, was arrested on Broadway and charged with driving with a revoked license and giving a false name.

Other arrests

On Jan. 22, a juvenile from 5 Canal Lane was arrested at that address and charged with resisting arrest, threatening to commit crime and disturbing the peace.

On Jan. 24, Ronald Watson, 27, of 80 River Rd., was arrested at that address and charged with violating an abuse prevention order.

Warrant arrests

On Jan. 24, Bruce Villineau, 42, of Medford, was arrested at 785 Broadway on a warrant for driving with a suspended license and with an uninsured motor vehicle or trailer.

On Jan. 27, Gregory Benard, 56, of 51 Trull St., was arrested in Medford on a warrant for uttering a false prescription.

On Jan. 27, Robert Linehan, 56, of Peabody, was arrested at 202 Somerville Ave. on a warrant for threatening to commit crime.
