Police Booking Log: Knife Pulled in Business Card, T-Shirt Printing Dispute

Arrests made by the Somerville Police Department from July 9 to July 16. Please remember that the charges listed below do not indicate a conviction.
Assault and battery
On July 9, a juvenile was arrested at 104 Wheatland St. and charged with assault and battery.
On July 11, Herrington Placides, 33, of 302 Lowell St., was arrested at 495 Medford St. and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. According to a police report, there was a conflict at Vision Art Graphics in Magoun Square, where Herrington worked. Some customers did not like the work the business did with some T-shirts and business cards and came to complain, the report says. According to the report, tempers flared, there was some pushing and Herrington pulled a knife, though he never took it out of its sheath.
On July 12, Sandy Moura, 25, of 6 Wellington Ave., was arrested at that address and charged with assault and battery.
On July 12, Toure Penn-Foster, 26, of Cambridge, was arrested at 10 Memorial Rd. and charged with assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, defacing property, failure to stop for police, driving with a suspended license and failure to keep right for an oncoming vehicle. Penn-Foster is accused of driving a stolen moped into a police officer.
On July 13, Jason Coke, 35, of 17 Mason St., was arrested at 21 Mason St. and charged with assault and battery.
On July 13, Marc Maisano, 54, of Florida, and Daniel Gentile, 52, of 40 Florence St., were arrested at 40 Florence St. and charged with home invasion, kidnapping, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, witness intimidation and conspiracy to commit a crime or felony. They allegedly broke into a disabled man's home, beat him with the flat part of a machete and broke the man's cane.
On July 16, Elizabeth Norena, 19, of 79 Derby St., was arrested at 15 Memorial Rd. and charged with assault and battery.
Larceny, theft and shoplifting
On July 10, Julio Pires, 28, of Brockton, was arrested at 77 Middlesex Ave. and charged with shoplifting and possession of burglarious instruments.
On July 11, Corey McClintic, 28, of 9 Jaquest St., was arrested at 220 Washington St. (the police station) and charged with larceny from a building and larceny from a person.
On July 15, Ibrahim Muhammad, 20, of 14 Otis St., was arrested at that address and charged with unarmed robbery. He is accused of snatching a woman's iPhone but was caught because the iPhone had its GPS locating function activated.
Drug-related arrests
On July 10, Tobi Mirdik, 37, of Charlestown, was arrested on Myrtle Street and charged with possession of a dangerous weapon, drug possession, conspiracty to violate drug law, drug violation near a school or park and marked lanes violation. According to a police report, police observed Mirdik make what they thought was a drug deal at the Tedeschi Food Mart on Washington Street. The report says officers then saw Mirdik drive around vehicles on Washington Street using the bike lane. When they pulled him over, officers found a black folding knife, cocaine and some Gabepentin pills (which increase the amount of time someone feels "high" on other drugs), according to the report. When asked how long he'd been selling drugs, Mirdik said, "Not long. I've been unemployed for a while and it's hard," according to the report.
On July 10, Joao Desouza, 52, of 248 Broadway, was arrested on Montgomery Avenue and charged with drug possession and resisting arrest.
On July 11, Wilfredo Velasquez, 31, of 34 North St., was arrested at 561 Broadway and charged with drug possession to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug law.
On July 13, Ralph Wade, 38, of Cambridge, and Michael Cooper, 31, of 399 Broadway, were arrested at 180 Somerville Ave. Wade was charged with drug possession to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug law. Cooper was charged with drug possession and conspiracy to violate drug law. Wade, a Cambridge DPW worker, is accused of dealing drugs out of his garbage truck.
On July 13, Frank Whitney, 27, of 103 Electric Ave. and Virginia Hussey, of 15 Rush St., were arrested at 15 Rush St. and charged with drug possession to distribute, conspiracy to violate drug law and drug violation near a school or park. They are accused of running a heroin dealing operation out of 15 Rush St.
Breaking and entering
On July 14, Christopher Kudlack, 22, of 36 Sunset Rd. was arrested at 220 Washington St. and charged with breaking and entering.
Operating under the influence
On July 12, John Howard, 42, of Dorchester, was arrested at 185 Somerville Ave. and charged with driving with a revoked license and operating under the influence of liquor.
Driving without a license
On July 9, Fernandes Dener, 40, was arrested at 64 Union Square and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Other arrests
On July 9, Daniel McLean, 54, of 268 Washington St., was arrested on Stone Avenue and charged with violating an abuse prevention order.
On July 10, Edward Cottier, 44, of 37 Harvard St., was arrested at 51 Central St. and charged with violating a harassment prevention order.
On July 14, Jeffrey Western, 50, of 17 Glen St., was arrested at that address and charged with being a fugitive from justice on court.
Warrant arrests
On July 9, Edwin Grossett, 28, was arrested at 125 Alewife Brook Parkway on a warrant for assault and battery.
On July 10, Yenarmin Ramirez, 39, of 111 Walnut St., was arrested at 22 Dana St. on a warrant for driving an uninsured motor vehicle.
On July 10, Marie Coady, 62, of 4 Washington Ave., was arrested at 220 Washington St. (the police station) on warrants for leaving the scene of property damage and operating under the influence of liquor.
On July 10, William Cruz, 22, of 124 Walnut St., was arrested at 44 Broadway on a warrant for assault and battery on a public employee.
On July 11, Daniel Ryan, 37, was arrested at 10 Cross St. on warrants for disorderly conduct and trespassing.
On July 11, Adam Rodriguez, 22, of Hudson, was arrested at 220 Washington St. (the police station) on a warrant for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
On July 14, Elaine Monahan, 39, was arrested on Broadway on a warrant for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

I erased a comment on this article that made a disparaging comment about one of the people who was arrested. The commenter noted this person was arrested last year and provided this link about the arrest.
