Police Booking Log: Juvenile Steals Minivan, Leads Police on Foot Chase

The following arrest information was supplied by the Somerville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

Arrests made by the Somerville Police Department from May 7 to May 12. Please remember that the charges listed below do not indicate a conviction.

Assault and battery

On May 9, Daniel Nelligan, of Whitman, was arrested at 111 South St. and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and malicious destruction of a motor vehicle. He is accused of hitting another man with a club and then smashing the windows out of the victim's car.

On May 10, Dwayne Rose, 42, of 141 Pearl St., was arrested at 220 Washington St. (the police station) and charged with rape, assault and battery and assault with a dangerous weapon. To protect victims, the Somerville Police Department does not release information about alleged rapes.

Larceny and theft

On May 9, a juvenile from the Winter Hill area was arrested at 15 Howe St. and charged with receiving a stolen motor vehicle, defacing property, receiving a stolen credit card, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. According to a police report, he is accused of stealing a minivan and then leading police officers on a foot chase through Winter Hill, over fences and through yards, during which one officer was injured on barbed wire.

On May 9, Michael Hasberry, 48, of Mattapan, was arrested at 75 Mystic Ave. and charged with larceny.

On May 12, Oscar Hernandezrivera (note: this is how the name appears in the police booking log), 24, of Roxbury, was arrested at 22 McGrath Highway and charged with shoplifting.

Prostitution

On May 10, Natalia Silva, 25, of Medford, was arrested at 503A Medford St., and charged with sexual conduct for a fee. She is accused of offering to have sex with an undercover detective for $500.

Operating under the influence

On May 10, Elisha Siegel, 29, of Cambridge, was arrested at 40 Central St. and charged with operating under the influence of liquor.

Other arrests

On May 7, Mary Ann Huff, 27, of Medford, was arrested at 111 South St. and charged with violating an abuse prevention order.

On May 8, a juvenile from West Somerville was arrested at 256 Elm St. and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

On May 8, Susan Carroll, 50, of 270 Washington St., was arrested at 47 Webster Ave. and charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

On May 10, Christopher Hicks, of Cambridge, was arrested at 35A Memorial Rd. and charged with violating an open container law and resisting arrest.

Warrant arrests

On May 5, Jesse Robbins, 29, of Georgetown, was arrested on Blakeley Avenue on a warrant for driving with a suspended license.

On May 7, Craig Stewart, of Cambridge, was arrested at 14 McGrath Highway on warrants for destruction of property, driving with a suspended license and assault and battery.

On May 8, Debra Higgins, 45, of 11 Dresden Circle, was arrested at 255 Elm St. on warrants for a number plate violation, driving an uninsured motor vehicle and driving an unregistered motor vehicle.

On May 10, Jason Souza, 29, of Charlestown, was arrested on McGrath Highway on a warrant for unarmed robbery. Souza is accused of robbing banks in Medford and Charlestown.

On May 10, Mark Spatafore, 48, of Saugus, was arrested on Broadway on warrants for driving with a suspended license, failure to stop or yield and equipment violation.
