Police Booking Log: Driving with Drugs and Beer
The following arrest information was supplied by the Somerville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Arrests made by the Somerville Police Department from June 4 to June 10. Please remember that the charges listed below do not indicate a conviction.
Assault and battery
On June 5, Md Atiqul Alam (this is how it appears in the police booking log), 30, of 41 Franklin St., was arrested at that address and charged with assault and battery.
On June 6, Ronildo Da Silva, 33, of 33 Marshall St., was arrested at 43 Marshall St. and charged with attempted murder, assault and battery, witness intimidation and threatening to commit crime. According to a police report, Da Silva is accused of choking a woman he's in a relationship with and saying, "I'm going to kill you." The report says he also theatened to kill a roommate who witnessed the alleged attack.
On June 7, Timothy King, 36, of 35 Day St., was arrested at that address and charged with assault and battery and drug possession.
On June 7, Nora Ramirez, 29, of 20 Autumn St., was arrested at 230 Highland Ave. and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
On June 9, a juvenile was arrested at 1374 Broadway and charged with assault and battery.
Larceny and theft
On June 6, Michael Splaine, 24, who is homeless, according to a police report, was arrested in Medford, near Magoun Square, and charged with receiving a stolen motor vehicle, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, driving with a suspended license and credit card fraud. He is accused of leading police on a car chase through much of Somerville and into Medford while driving a stolen Lexus SUV, the owner of which had left the car running in order to stop in a store.
On June 10, Anthony Dirusso, 36, of 326 Somerville Ave., was arrested at 40 Union Square and charged with larceny from a person.
On June 7, Robert Boyden, 49, of Charlestown, was arrested on Broadway and charhged with drug possession, operating under the influence of drugs, operating with a suspended license and drug violation near a park. According to a police report, police stopped Boyden after he was driving on the wrong side of Broadway. The report says Boyden struck another car near the intersection of Cedar Street and that a witness saw him toss a sixpack of beer out the door. The report says Boyden stumbled and nearly fell over when he stepped out of the car and that police found what they believed to be 64 baggies of PCP in the car.
Operating under the influence
On June 9, Charles Roderick, 50, of Medford, was arrested on Broadway and charged with operating under the influence of drugs and operating under the influence of liquor.
Driving without a license
On June 7, David Rothstein, 29, of 94 Prentis St., was arrested on Morrison Avenue and charged with driving with a suspended license.
On June 8, Rogerio Martins, 33, of 71 Flint St., was arrested on Memorial Road and charged with driving with a suspended license.
On June 9, Luis Sousa, 35, of Malden, was arrested at 299 Broadway and charged with driving with a suspended license and failure to signal.
On June 10, Daniel Ryan, 47, was arrested at 14 McGrath Highway and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
On June 4, Dawn Greene, 38, of Cambridge, was arrested on Newton Street on a warrant for breaking and entering.
On June 9, David Calmo, 26, of Everett, was arrested at 193 Broadway on warrants for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and trespassing.
On June 10, Amy Hill, 23, was arrested at 137 Pearl St. on warrants for sexual conduct for a fee, drug possession and conspiracy to violate drug law.
