Police Booking Log: Attempted Murder Charge

Arrests made by the Somerville Police Department from June 18 to June 24. Please remember that the charges listed below do not indicate a conviction.
Assault and battery
On June 24, Erin Blackwell, 30, of 25 Walnut St., was arrested at that address and charged with assault and battery.
On June 24, Thomas Dearborn, 19, was arrested at 299 Broadway and charged with attempted murder, assault and battery, drug possession, possession of a dangerous weapon and witness intimidation. According to a police report, Dearborn is accused of strangling his former girlfriend. The victim told police she was meeting with Dearborn to retrieve her laptop and cell phone when the two got into an argument, the police report says. According to the report, the victim said that Dearborn strangled her and put her in a headlock, and that she bit his arm to escape.
Larceny, theft and shoplifting
On June 20, Sheila King, 35, was arrested at 77 Middlesex Ave. and charged with shoplifting. She was also arrested warrants for shoplifting.
On June 21, Charles Ryan, 57, of 75 Myrtle St., was arrested at 125 Broadway and charged with unarmed robbery. Ryan is accused of robbing the Sovereign Bank at 125 Broadway. When arrested, he allegedly told police he conducted the robbery because he was "desperate."
On June 23, two juveniles from Cambridge were arrested at 180 Somerville Ave. and charged with larceny.
Drug-related arrests
On June 21, David Martinez, 21, of 551 Broadway, was arrested at 640 Mystic Ave. and charged with drug possession and drug violation near a school or park. He was also arrested on warrants for carrying a firearm without a license, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and carjacking. Martinez was arrested in connection to a carjacking that took place June 16 near the Michael E. Capuano Early Childhood Center. Nelson Martinez, 23, of 551 Broadway, was also arrested at this time in connection to the carjacking. He was arrested on warrants for carrying a firearm without a license and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
On June 21, David Meli, 22, of 159 Glen St., was arrested on Auburn Avenue and charged with heroin trafficking, drug violation near a school or park, conspiracy to violate drug law, drug possession and possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. In connection to the same incident, Cliff Maingrette, 23, of Mattapan, was arrested and charged with the same things. According to a police report, officers questioned Meli and Maingrette after an apparent incident of road rage and ultimately found Percocet, cocaine and cash on them.
Driving without a license
On June 18, Isaih Moore, 24, of Cambridge, was arrested on Prospect Street and charged with driving with a suspended license.
On June 20, Roberto Arevalo, 40, of Haverill, was arrested on Tufts Street and charged with failure to stop or yield and driving with a suspended license.
On June 20, Eric Higgins, 35, of Franklin, N.H., was arrested on Broadway and charged with unlicensed operation of a vehicle.
Other arrests
On June 22, Ryoji Uyehara, 28, of Allston, was arrested on Flint Street and charged with a bicycle violation and refusal to give his name to officers. Uyehara was the first person to be charged with a bicycle violation since Somerville police began actively enforcing traffic laws with bicyclists in April.
Warrant arrests
On June 18, Kenneth Molloy, 30, of Rockland, was arrested on Morrison Avenue on warrants for drug possession, breaking and entering, receiving stolen property, driving without a license, destruction of property, larceny, conspiracy, driving without an inspection sticker, use of a motor vehicle without authority and conspiracy to violate drug law.
On June 19, Michael Devereaux, 44, of Nahant, was arrested on Middlesex Avenue on a warrant for unlicensed operation of a vehicle.
On June 19, Carmelot Pierre, 30, of 9 Bartlett St., was arrested at 10 High St. on warrants for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery on a child with injury.
On June 19, Francis Armstrong, 42, of 45 Memorial Road, was arrested at that address on a warrant for witness intimidation.
On June 20, Ellen-Marie McCann, 26, of 167 Pearl St., was arrested at that address on warrants for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery and unarmed robbery.
On June 20, Michael Cisternelli, 29, of Boston, was arrested on Medford Street on a warrant for attempting to commit crime.
On June 21, Gevens Mayala, 22, of 14 Madison St., was arrested on North Street on warrants for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and threatening to commit crime.
On June 23, Job Dimanche, 23, of Everett, was arrested at 105 Alewife Brook Parkway on warrants for resisting arrest, assault and battery and disorderly conduct.
