Police Booking Log: Arrest Made After 'Pattern' of Car Break-Ins
The following arrest information was supplied by the Somerville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Arrests made by the Somerville Police Department from Nov. 26 to Dec. 2. Please remember that the charges listed below do not indicate a conviction.
Assault and battery
On Nov. 29, Calvin Tull, 56, of 28 Governor Winthrop Rd., was arrested at that address and charged with assault and battery.
On Dec. 2, Paul Simons, 58, of 68 Peasron Rd., was arrested at that address and charged with assault and battery.
Larceny, theft and shoplifting
On Nov. 26, Jean Larosa, 56, of 10 Sewall St., was arrested at 133 Middlesex Ave. and charged with larceny and drug possession. She was also arrested on warrants for shoplifting, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a motor vehicle lights violation. According to a police report, Larosa is accused of shoplifting about $395 worth of clothing from Sports Authority and possessing heroin.
On Dec. 2, Peter McCafferty, 51, of Medford, was arrested at 532 Medford St. and charged with unarmed robbery. He is accused of trying to rob a cab driver.
Drug-related arrests
On Nov. 30, Israel Martinez, 35, of 61 Linden St., was arrested at 223 Washington St. and charged with drug possession.
Operating under the influence
On Nov. 30, Lori Escolas, 36, of Spencer, was arrested on Acadia Park and charged with operating under the influence of liquor.
On Nov. 30, Felipe Pablo-Jeronimo, 45, of Chelsea, was arrested at 171 Broadway and charged with operating under the influence of liquor.
On Dec. 1, Jeffery Lightfoot-Daniel, 28, of Randolph, was arrested on Bonner Ave. and charged with operating under the influence of liquor.
Driving without a license
On Nov. 29, Wendy Clairborne, 34, was arrested at 337 Broadway and charged with driving with a revoked license and giving a false name.
On Nov. 30, Anthony Catinella, 21, of Worcester, was arrested at 71 College Ave. and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and furnishing a false name. He was also arrested on warrants for assault with a dangerous weapon, threatening to commit crime, larceny, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and breaking and entering.
Other arrests
On Nov. 27, Shaheim Grant, 17, of 382 McGrath Highway, was arrested at 220 Washington St. and charged with breaking and entering. According to a police report, Grant is accused of breaking into a car on Preston Road. The car owner's father has video of the alleged break-in taking place, according to the report. The report says Grant may have been involved, with other teenagers, in a "pattern" of car break-ins in Somerville.
On Dec. 1, Neil Scott, 26, of Reading, was arrested at 52 Dover St. as a courtesy booking for another department.
Warrant arrests
On Nov. 26, James Mento, 33, of Lynn, was arrested at 775 McGrath Highway on warrants for possession of burglarious instruments, breaking and entering and possession of dangerous weapons.
On Nov. 26, John Ahern, 60, of 20 Everett Ave., was arrested at that address on warrants for statutory rape of a child.
On Nov. 29, Tyron Morris, 27, of 125 Alewife Brook Pkwy., was arrested at that address on warrants for violating an abuse prevention order, threatening to commit crime, and assault and battery.
On Dec. 1, Andrew Herbert-Johnson, 27, of Lexington, was arrested at 31 Hamlet St. on warrants for driving with a suspended license and driving with a suspended registration.
