No one ever called Somerville shy when it comes to Christmas lights. Walk, bike or drive around the city, and you'll see some of the most creative and jaw-dropping holiday decorations in the Boston area.

This year, there are some fun ways to experience the city's festive appearance.

On Saturday, the is running its "Illuminations" trolley tour of lights in the city. The 45-minute tour starts at city hall, and there will also be coffee, hot chocolate, cookies, choral music, and crafts for children. .
