PHOTOS: Carnaval in East Somerville

Brazilian drummers, Salvadoran dancers, music and more were part of the SomerStreets festival.

East Somerville's Carnaval, held Sunday along Broadway, included Brazilian drummers, Salvadoran dancers, circus performances, music, games, activities and more.

It was all part of the city's SomerStreets series of street festivals that take place throughout Somerville during the summer.

  • Monstermashed UP, Oct. 28, along Somerville Avenue from Union Square to Beacon Street.
