Pet for Adoption: Iris, an Affectionate Pit Bull

Iris loves people, but sometimes gets nervous with other dogs.

The following was provided by Marcy Newhall of Kitty Connection:

Meet Iris, a one-year-old female pit bull mix. She's a gorgeous girl who likes to go for walks and car rides. Her favorite things are tennis balls, squeaky toys, rope tugs, tummy rubs and snuggling. Iris loves to show affection to her humans and gets super excited to meet new people and kids of all ages. Iris has been attending dog training classes over the past few weeks and is learning basic commands quickly. Iris can be insecure around other dogs at first and may do best in a home with a larger dominant male or as an only dog so she can get all of your love and attention! Iris' foster mom says she is a real sweetheart.

Come meet Iris at Pet Supplies Plus in Medford on Saturday from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m.! This week, Kitty Connection is at the following locations for adoptions: Saturday, PetLife in Stoneham, 93 Main Street, Redstone Plaza, 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Saturday, PetCo in Woburn, 103 Commerce Way, 1 to 3 p.m.;  Sunday, Pet Supplies Plus in Medford, 630 Fellsway, 2 to 4 p.m.; Tuesday at Kitty Connection, 6 Cudworth St. Medford, MA (go around back to bulk head); Thursday, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Kitty Connection foster home, 4 5th St. Medford MA Floor 2 (ring top bell).
