Nine Somerville Restaurants Compete in Boston.com's 'Munch Madness' Bracket
Modeled after college basketball March Madness tournament brackets, Boston.com's contest pits Boston restaurants against each other.
Somerville is well represented in this year's March Madness tournament.
We're not talking about basketball, of course, but restaurants.
Boston.com's "Munch Madness" competition pits 64 Boston-area restaurants against each other in a bracket tournament modeled after those associated with the famous basketball tournament.
Nine Somerville restaurants are in the competition this year, and they're up against some pretty stiff competition. In the competition, each restaurant faces off against another, and the winner moves onto the next round. There's a Sweet Sixteen, an Elite Eight, a Final Four and, ultimately, a champion.
