New Businesses Open in Davis Square: Toys, Nuts, Food and Hair Styles

Do Wee & Rice
Do Wee & Rice, a fusion test kitchen that serves dishes like chicken and rice, double-fried french fries and crispy chicken hearts, officially opens Wednesday, according to the restaurant's website. The restaurant, which is opening in the Powderhouse Circle space formerly occupied by East Asia Restaurant, held a soft launch Saturday that drew a sizable crowd. Do Wee & Rice is holding its official grand opening on Sept. 15, according to its website. You can check out their Facebook page here.
Q's Nuts
Somerville's own Q's Nuts, which sells small-batch roasted nuts with flavors like "Mexican chocolate pecans" and "cayenne mango and rosemary sea salt almonds," opened its first storefront, at 346 Highland Ave. in Davis Square, Saturday, according to a post on Davis Square LiveJournal. Stellabella
Stellabella Toys, a local favorite that has drawn customers to its Inman Square and Porter Square locations in Cambridge, is now officially in Somerville. The toy store recently opened up at 196 Elm St., in the space that was briefly home to Knucklebones.
Dellaria Salon
Dellaria Salon, a regional hair styling chain, is now open in Davis Square at 267 Elm St., in the space that was once home to Cameras Inc.
