Police Booking Log: Narcotics Unit Makes Crack Cocaine Bust

The following arrest information was supplied by the Somerville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Arrests made by the Somerville Police Department from March 4 to March 10. Please remember that the charges listed below do not indicate a conviction.

Assault and battery

On March 6, Mondy Charles, 49, of 155 Central St., was arrested in Cambridge and charged with witness intimidation and assault with a dangerous weapon. According to a police report, Charles is accused of threatening someone at 155 Central St., a group home for people with mental illness, with a butter knife. He was arrested at Cambridge Hospital after being evaluated, the report says.

On March 9, Alicia Arana, 58, of 39 Sargent Ave. and Rosa Martha, 30, of 142 Albion St., were arrested at 39 Sargent Ave. and charged with assault and battery. Milady Maraidiaga, 33, of 39 Sargent Ave. was also arrested and charged with assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest. The three women were arrested after a late-night fight, according to a police report. The report says Maraidiaga kicked a police officer in the shin in an attempt to free her mother, Arana, after Arana had been placed in handcuffs.

On March 9, Sean Fay, 33, of 21 MacArthur St., was arrested at that address and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.

Larceny, theft, breaking and entering

On March 6, George Panagopoulous, 30, of Milton, was arrested at 65 Grove St., and charged with breaking and entering and possession of a burglarious instrument.

On March 9, Ryan Stillman, 25, of Northport, N.Y., was arrested at 14 Edgar Ave. and charged with larceny and check forgery. According to a police report, Stillman used the victim's checkbook to write checks to himself, and then he convinced two other people to cash the checks for him, telling them he didn't have a bank account.

Drug-related arrests

On March 9, Charles Stewart, 26, of Weymouth, was arrested at 8 Main St. and charged with drug possession and conspiracy to violate drug law. He was also arrested on warrants for receiving stolen property and trespassing. In connection to the same incident, Christopher Sears, 24, of Dorchester, was arrested and charged with drug possession and conspiracy to violate drug law. Anthony Sadler, 22, of 2 Meacham St., was arrested and charged with drug distribution and conspiracy to violate drug law. According to a police report, the three men were observed by the Somerville Police Narcotics Unit conducting a crack cocaine drug deal.

Driving without a license

On March 6, Darryll Lydon, 34, of Cambridge, was arrested on Medford Street and charged with driving with a suspended license.

Other arrests

On March 6, Jonathan Lopez, 27, of Lynn, was arrested at 220 Washington St., the police station, and charged with statutory rape of a child. In an effort to protect victims, the Somerville police department does not provide information about alleged rapes unless there is a possible threat to the public.

On March 6, Ronald Watson, 28, of 80 River Rd., was arrested at that address and charged with possessing amunition without a firearms ID card. He was also arrested on a warrant for violating an abuse prevention order.

Warrant arrests

On March 4, Justin McDonald, 30, of 34 Grant St., was arrested at 202 Powder House Blvd. on a warrant for receiving stolen property.

On March 5, James McLennon, 48, of 3 Heath St., was arrested at that address on a warrant for larceny.

On March 5, Enis Martins, 35, of Everett, was arrested at 75 Mystic Ave. on a warrant for speeding.

On March 5, Carlos Santos, 38, of Everett, was arrested at 75 Mystic Ave. on warrants for unsafe operation of a motor vehicle and driving with a suspended license.

On March 10, John Mellone, 32, of 10 Montgomery Ave., was arrested at that address on a warrant for unarmed robbery.
