We recently learned that Bronwyn, a new restaurant by the folks behind Cambridge's T.W. Food, is expected to open in Union Square this winter. (Boston Eater called it one of "Boston's most anticipated restaurant openings.")

The exact opening date hasn't been announced, but a member of Bronwyn's marketing team sent some more information, and some photos, describing what diners can expect.

Tim Wiechmann, the chef and owner, along with his wife, Bronwyn, has been testing recipes, and the dishes and drinks will come from German, Austria, Alto Adige (a.k.a. South Tyrol, in the Italian Alps) and Eastern Europe.

As such, some of the recipes the Wiechmann's have been testing are things like Bavarian sausages, Miltwurst (we'll have to learn what that is) and Currywurst, which is popular in Berlin. They've also been testing breads, including a rye beer bread, giant pretzels and honey-poppy challah. Other dishes might include northern Italian noodles dumplings.

When it comes to drinks, the staff is selecting wines and schnapps from Austria and Eastern Europe. And, of course, there's the "Bier" list, which will feature specialties from the Czech Republic and Germany.
