There will be a memorial service Monday morning for David Tagliaferro, the man who handed out Metro Boston newspapers in Davis Square Station for nearly six years and who passed away in late September.
After Tagliaferro passed away, there was an outpouring of condolences from the commuters whom he greeted every morning at Davis Square Station. Tagliaferro was known for his friendliness and for his love of dogs; he often handed out dog treats to passing pooches.
The service will be held at 10 a.m. at Saint Anthony's Church, 12 Properzi Way. It is open to the public.
