This week's Pet of the Week was written by Marcy Newhall of Kitty Connection.
Meet Maizie and Max! Two cats are always better than one, and Maizie would be lost without Max. Max is five years old and Maizie is seven. Max is friendly, loving and looks out for Maizie because she is very shy. Maizie sticks by Max's side and follows his cues. They snuggle together, share meals together, and make an adorable pair. They would be perfect for someone who works, as their adopter would know that they are happy as clams together during the day and could then come home to their sweet little faces. Sometimes Max will take a break from Maizie and enjoys sleeping with his person, but he usually spends the night snuggled with his girl. They are a match made in heaven, and would love to share Valentine's Day (and forever) with you!

- Saturday, PetCo in Woburn, 103 Commerce Way, 1 to 3 p.m.
- Friday, PetSmart in Everett, 5 Mystic View Road, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday, PetSmart in Everett,12:30 to 4 p.m.
- Thursday, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Kitty Connection foster homes, 4 5th St., Medford MA, Floor 2 (ring top bell) and 6 Cudworth St. Medford, MA (go around back to bulk head).
