Leave No Pile Behind is the simple message of the Somerville Dog Owners Group (som|dog) campaign to keep the city's streets clear of dog waste.

The group is cheerfully encouraging dog owners to take the Leave No Pile Behind pledge on the som|dog website. Not only can dog owners pledge to do the minimum--clean up after your dog every time--anyone may pledge to go "Beyond the call of doody.”

For that, you just need to promise to "not only to clean up after my dog every time but also to clean up poop left behind by irresponsible dog owners."
