Plus, it's story time for kids, and music in Union Square.
How to save a life
Prescription drug overdose is a growing problem in the country and it's a problem that has touched Somerville in recent years. The city, along with Save Our Somerville and Teen Empowerment, is running a workshop to teach people how to recognize the signs and symptoms overdosing and how to respond. The workshop is from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Cross Street Senior Center at 165 Broadway.
For more information or to register please contact Patty Contente, Clinical Youth Specialist, Somerville Health Department, Office of Prevention at 617-625-6600 ext. 4325 or email@example.com.
