46 Mt. Vernon St. This ornate Victorian home was built in 1885 and is filled with period details: stained glass windows, inlaid floors, pocket doors, a grain bin, an ice chest, a built-in hutch, and pastry marble, to name just a few things. It's got a deck, a yard and a garage. It has six bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and 3,674 square feet. It's a single family, but there's also a space that could be used as an in-law unit or a rentable apartment. The open house is Sunday from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Carey Gatto of Prudential Buccelli Real Estate, Inc. Carey Gatto, Prudential Buccelli Real Estate, Inc.

Just as a guess: you probably don't want EVERYBODY to be able to "Upload Photos & Videos" to this story... do you?

If you're a realtor and you have an open house in Somerville this weekend, by all means upload a photo! On Somerville Patch we encourage people share ideas and information with each other—through comments, notices about events and community happenings, announcements, photos, videos, blogs and more. This is a family-friendly site, and I've found that, by and large, the folks who visit Somerville Patch are respectful of that, even when they disagree vigorously about issues and news that affects the community. So, yes, I encourage everyone to upload a photo, and I trust, based on experience, that people in Somerville are mature enough to do so in a responsible and relevant manner.
