Highly Anticipated Somerville Restaurant to Open May 15

It's an official opening date for a new Union Square eatery.

Get ready for fresh pretzels, hand-twisted sausage, veal Jägerschnitzel, an extensive German beer list and hard-to-find wines from Germany, Austria and Südtirol.

Bronwyn, a new restaurant by Tim and Bronwyn Wiechmann, from Cambridge's T.W. Food, opens in Union Square on May 15.

Boston Eater reported the news Tuesday, and Bronwyn's Facebook page confirmed it.

Boston Eater says the restaurant will be open for just dinner at first, but it will eventually serve brunch and "late-night sausage."
