Update, July 18: We posted about Annie the missing dog on Monday (see below.)

According to an email from a reader, Annie was seen again yesterday (Tuesday) on Walnut Street, running toward Pearl Street.

The reader provided some more information about Annie. She lives in Newton, but her owner was away, so someone in Somerville was taking care of her when she got lost.

She is skittish and shy, and therefore will not go up to people. For this reason, if you see her, don't chase her. If you can, keep an eye on her and call (617) 877-5774.

She has probably found a shed or porch to hide under.

April Terrio-Manning on Friday posted information about Annie, a missing dog, on the Somerville Patch Facebook page.

Annie is a rescue dog, and she is skittish, so if you chase her she will run away.

Here's what she posted:

Annie, a spayed female Schnauzer Mix, went missing from the Winter Hill area on 7/12/12 at approximately 7pm. She is 35 Lbs and 3 years of age. She is micropchipped. Annie is new to area.
