Roadwork is being conducted in Union Square, on Fountain Ave., on School St. (which is open only to abutters today) and on Washington St. (from Sullivan Square to near Rte. 28). A stepped-up plan is in place to finish disruptive roadwork before the Boston-bound lanes of Craigie Drawbridge close for about five weeks starting on Friday. You can learn to read your child's report card at Somerville High School tonight. All families are invited to this class where parents will learn about curriculum standards in local schools. More information here.

Davis Square farmers market is almost done for the season, so you should come out and enjoy it while you can. There are only three more markets after today.
