It's Half-Day Wednesday Once Again:
All elementary school students have a half day today. Dismissal for Pre-K students is at 11:30 a.m., with dismissal of grades K-8 at noon.
All-You-Can-Eat Buffet Week:
Starting today, you can stop by the Somerville High School's student-run restaurant, the Highlander Cafe, to chow down, All-You-Can-Eat Buffet style. The cafe is open to the public from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. this week. Reservations are preferred. For more information click here.
Spend a Half-Hour At the Library:
Looking for a free way to entertain the kids? At 2:00 p.m., Tammy McKanan hosts the Half Day Half-Hour at the Central Library. Today's theme: Universal Human Rights Month. Note, the program is recommended for children 7 and older. For more information click here.
Work On Your Green Thumb:
The Somerville Garden Club hosts its monthly meeting tonight. On the agenda: a plant Q & A, and a demonstration on how to decorate with evergreens.
