Tonight could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship—with SCATV

Take the orientation at SCATV tonight at 7 p.m. and it could open a great big door of opportunity for you. The public access TV station's classes in video and web production are open only to those who take orientation first. For more details, please see our Events listings here.

Visit story time at the West Branch Library

Tuesdays at 11 a.m., the West Branch Library settles in for a half-hour of stories in the children's department. It's free. For more info, please see our Events listings here.

Improve your public speaking

Toastmasters has finally come to Somerville. Since 1924, this nonprofit has taught public speaking skills through local workshops throughout the country. The Somerville Toastmasters have just started up. They meet on Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. at 6 William St. For more info, please see out Events calendar by clicking here.

Wheel Over to the Bicycle Committee Meeting

The Somerville Bicycle Committee meets at 7 p.m. on the third Tuesday of every month at City Hall. If you want to help continue to make Somerville a more bike-friendly city, this is the group to join. For info, please click here.
