Five Things: Yoga With a Boston Bruin, New Corpbasics DVD
And some things to do at the library.
1) Yoga with a Boston Bruin
Franciscan Hospital for Children, a pediatric rehabilitation center, recently had a visit from Dan Paille of the Boston Bruins, and he did some yoga with a Somerville resident. Here's what Franciscan Hospital said about it: "Somerville resident Krista Doyle participated in a yoga class with Bruins left wing, Dan Paille, his wife Dana and other Kennedy Day School students, on Thursday, July 19. Their visit celebrated the naming of the new Sensory Motor Room after the Boston Bruins Foundation in honor of its $75,000 donation to help renovate and expand the Kennedy Day School."
2) Corpbasics DVD to benefit domestic violence agency
Andrew Haynes, of Corpbasics Fitness & Training Club, is helping to raise money for RESPOND, Inc., a domestic violence organization, with the help of his new DVD fitness collection. According to an announcement sent on behalf of Corpbasics, Haynes will be filming a 7-DVD set in the Caribbean, and he will donate $10 of every set sold before January to RESPOND.
5) Weather and Red Sox
The Red Sox are in Texas tonight to play the Rangers. The game starts at 8:05 p.m. There's a chance of showers and thunderstorms, and highs will be around 89.
