FIVE THINGS TO KNOW TODAY 3/11: Don't Forget To Turn Your Clocks Ahead This Weekend
Spring forward! Daylight saving time begins early Sunday morning.
It's that time again: Don't forget to turn your clocks ahead one hour. Daylight saving time starts at 2 a.m. Sunday morning.
Lots of people dread the start of daylight saving time, but you have to take the long view: Sure, you'll miss an hour's worth of sleep Sunday morning, but in return you get an extra hour of sunlight from now until November.

Call for Event Producers
If you’ve enjoyed events like the Fluff Festival or the Rock & Roll Yard Sale and you have an idea of your own that you’d like to volunteer to produce, the Arts Council wants to hear from you. The Council will help with publicity and provide support, you just bring the great idea and the willpower to make it happen. They suggest you “Check out what happened last year for inspiration.” Once you have an idea, download an application here and apply by April 1. Sign up for the Union Square Main Streets Newsletter here (scroll down, look for signup box on left).
