Also, the Board of Aldermen meet about next year's budget.
1) Taste of Somerville
Sample food from 34 Somerville restaurants, including some new hotspots like Casa B and Painted Burro, at tonight's Taste of Somerville. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, and tickets are still available. More here.
2) Somerville High School graduation
Last night's graduation ceremony was postponed due to rain, and with no end in sight to the nasty weather, Somerville High School has decided to bring graduation indoors. It takes place tonight at 6 p.m. at Tufts University's Gantcher Family Sports and Convocation Center, 161 College Ave in—shut your ears—Medford. More here.
3) Board of Aldermen
June is the last month of the fiscal year, which means it's budget season. The Board of Aldermen are holding a special meeting about the fiscal year 2013 budget tonight at 6 p.m. at City Hall.
4) Financial literacy graduates
While Somerville High School seniors graduate tonight, a handful of students have already passed a financial literacy program at the high school, according to an email sent on behalf of Cambridge Savings Bank, which runs the program. The CSBsmart program taught students about budgeting, savings, managing a checking account, credit smarts and fraud smarts, the email says.
5) Weather and Red Sox
The Red Sox are scheduled to play the Orioles tonight at Fenway at 7:10 p.m. That said, today will be cloudy with a chance of showers, and highs around 60, so we'll see if the game happens.
