1) Summer-Ville Cool Down
Somerville Local First is hosting a get-together tonight at Olde Magoun's Saloon. The Summer-Ville Cool Down supports the local business organization, and there will be beer tasting from Berkshire Brewing Company and Notch Brewing. It's from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. More here.
2) Dairy Bar is still there
We posted a short article about Maximum Hesh, a new skateboarding shop in Davis Square that opened last month in the space formerly occupied by The Dairy Bar at Kickass Cupcakes. Just so people know, The Dairy Bar is still there, it's just moved next door to 378 Highland Ave., sharing space with all those Kickass Cupcakes.
3) Free outdoor movie: The Muppets
Watch the 2011 version of The Muppets at Seven Hills Park in Davis Square. It's free and outdoors, and it starts at about 8:30 p.m.
4) Music at Radio
Sarah Walk, To The Wedding, The Milling Gowns, and Louder My Dear are playing at Radio tonight at 8 p.m.
5) Weather and Red Sox
The Red Sox are off today. Showers and thunderstorms are likely today, with highs around 85.
