Five Things: School Committee Meeting and Pizza for Youngsters

Also, an open mic night for Somerville youth, and we ask for the best tax accountant in Somerville.

 

1) Pizza for pre-K and kindergarten
Eating pizza at Flatbread Company at Sacco's Bowl Haven today benefits cute pre-K and kindergarten students at the Capuano School. Starting at 5 p.m., when you order pizza (eat-in or take-out), part of of the proceeds will go to the Capuano School PTA.

2) School Committee meeting for finance and facilities
The Somerville School Committee's subcommittee for finance and facilities meets tonight at 7 p.m. to discuss next year's budget, among other things. The meeting takes place at the Somerville Public Schools administration building at 42 Cross St.

3) Where's the best place in Somerville to do your taxes?

4) Youth open mic night
The first Tuesday of every month, through July, is open mic night for Somerville youth at the The Center for Arts at the Armory. The mic turns on at 6 p.m.; if you've got something to say, check it out.
