1) National Night Out
The Somerville Police Department, the city of Somerville and Somerville Cares About Prevention are hosting annual National Night Out festivities today. There will be activities for young people and performances by Grooversity, Villari Self Defense Center, Teen Empowerment and the Somerville Sunsetters. It starts at 5 p.m. at Foss Park.
2) First Tuesdays After Dark at Louie's
As part of East Somerville Main Street's First Tuesdays, it's buy one, get one free at Louie's Ice Cream on Lower Broadway tonight.
3) Davis Square streetscape improvements meeting
There's a meeting, part of a series held this summer, to discuss improvements to Davis Square's streets. Read more about it here and here. Tonight's meeting is at 6 p.m. at the Tufts Administration Building, 167 Holland St.
4) "We Love the 80s" photo
The Zumba with Jess class at Dance Union had a "We Love the 80s" day on July 28, and they uploaded a photo. There are some other great photos in the gallery, too. Check them out.
5) Weather and Red Sox
The Red Sox play the Rangers tonight at 7:10 p.m. at Fenway. Today will be sunny with a high around 84.
