1) Assembly Square Orange Line meeting
Construction on the new Orange Line stop in Assembly Square has already begun, and there's a meeting about the project at 6:30 p.m. at the Capuano Early Childhood Center.
2) Massage-a-thon and barbecue
The Somerville Boxing Club and Lincoln Technical Institute are hosting a "massage-a-thon" today to benefit Somerville Youth Development and the boxing club. In addition to Swedish and deep-tissue massages, there will be a number of raffles, a DJ, a barbecue, a bake sale and more. 3) Poetry reading in Ball Square
Poets will gather at The Book Shop in Ball Square for a poetry reading. The reading features five notable poets from the area, and there will also be an open mic. The reading starts at 6 p.m.
4) Somerville Cares About Prevention annual meeting
The annual meeting of Somerville Cares About Prevention is at 6 p.m. at the Highlander Cafe at Somerville High School.
5) Weather and Red Sox
The Red Sox play the Orioles today at 12:35 p.m. There's a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms with highs around 72.
