Five Things: Maryann Heuston on 'Greater Somerville'

1) Maryann Heuston on "Greater Somerville" 
If you missed it, Somerville Alderman Maryann Heuston, who is running for register of deeds, was on a  special episode of "Greater Somerville" recently. You can watch the episode here.

2) Vote for Somerville's best
You have until Aug. 17 to vote for the best of the best in Somerville. Vote here.

3) Cambridge Health Alliance raises $100K
The Cambridge Health Alliance, which operates Somerville Hospital, raised $107,000 at its annual golf invitational held Aug. 6, according to an announcement from the health organization. The money raised will help improve electronic communication with patients in Somerville and the organization's other hospitals.

4) Two for Tuesdays
Celebrate East Somerville's restaurants with Two for Tuesdays, where you can get some good deals on good eats.

5) Weather and Red Sox
The Red Sox play the Orioles today at 7:05 p.m. in Baltimore. Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 80s. There's a chance of showers tonight.
