1) Somerville resident named ArtCorps Creative Activist
Eryn Johnson, a Somerville resident, was named Creative Activist of 2012 by ArtCorps, which "envisions art being used as a tool for sustainable development throughout the world," according to ArtCorps' website. Johnson is executive director of the Community Art Center in Cambridge.
2) Lost dog, Snappy
Snappy, a 4-year-old female gray weimaraner, went missing Thursday. There have been sightings of Snappy, but she is still lost. If you see her, do not chase her. Call (617) 256-8772.
3) Lost dog, Costela
Speaking of lost pets, over the weekend there were posters in the Tufts University area announcing a lost dog. His name is Costela, and he's a mini pinscher who weighs less than five pounds. Call (781) 266-7165 or (617) 640-6056 if you find him. The owners are offering a $100 reward.
4) Krowka the cat is found
Krowka the cat went missing in Somerville in late August, but she was found five days later. She was under a car, and a woman named Debra found her, called Home Again, a pet-finder service, and the cat was reunited with her owner, Laura.
5) Weather and Red Sox
