Five Things: LGBT Halloween Skate Night

Also, music of the Apocalypse, ride or walk to school day, and Boston Landmark Orchestra gets a Somerville trustee.

 

1) LGBT Halloween Skate Night
Somerville’s LGBT Halloween Skate Night is at 6 p.m. at Veteran's Memorial Rink.

2)  Music of the Apocalypse
This concert features music by student composers at Tufts. It's at 12 p.m. at the Granoff Music Center.

3) Ride or walk to school day
As with every last Friday of the month, Somerville residents are encouraged to leave their cars at home and walk, bike or ride public transportation to work or school.

4) Boston Landmark Orchestra trustee
Priscilla Douglass, of Somerville, has been named to the Board of Trustees and Overseers of the Boston Landmark Orchestra, which presents free concerts throughout the Boston area during the summer.  

5) Weather
Today will be cloudy in the morning, then getting sunny. Highs will be around 68.
