Five Things: JFK Library for Free, Walking for Heart Health

Also, ride or walk to work today, and sample some wine and beer in Ball Square tonight.

1) JFK Library for Free
Visit the JFK Library for free today as part of the Highland Street Foundation's Fun Free Fridays. The museum opens at 9 a.m.

2) Boston Heart Walk
Somerville resident Kyle Brooks will participate in the Boston Heart Walk on Sept. 15. The walk is expected to attract about 10,000 participants and raise nearly $1.8 million for the American Heart Association. Brooks is walking with Team PricewaterhouseCoopers, according to an email sent on behalf of the firm. Others who want to walk can sign up here.

3) Ride or walk to work day
It's the last Friday of the month, which means you're encouraged to walk, ride your bike or use public transportation to get to work today.

4) Free wine and beer at Ball Square
Every Friday Ball Square Fine Wines & Liquors offers free wine and beer tasting. If you're staying in Somerville this Labor Day weekend, it could be a fun way to start things off.

5) Weather and Red Sox
The Red Sox play the As today at 10:05 p.m. Today will be sunny with a high of around 93.
